HOLMES of Philadelphia county of Philadelphia State of Pennsylvania have vented or produced a new and original Design for an InkBottle and Stand and I do hereby declare that the companying drawings and the following explanation thereof form a full clear and exact description of e said design. Figure 1 is a front view and Figure 2 a plan view representing an inkstand made in accordance with my new design. The inkstand is square at the base a and is slightly inclined on all four sides. In the top b are two pressions d forming longitudinal curves for the reception of penholders and between these depressions is e cylindrical neck e of the inkstand having a rim f at its upper edge. I claim the design for an inkbottle and stand substantially as shown in and by the accompanying drawing.
